Taste Flavor Co. $5,000 Target Shopping Spree Sweepstakes: Official Rules

Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes — Terms, Conditions and Official Rules

1. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE AN ENTRANT’S CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) offers both:

  1. an online entry method associated with an optional purchase; and
  2. a free mail-in alternate method of entry.

Both methods enter eligible participants into the same random drawing, are subject to the same entry limit, and receive equal treatment and equal odds.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Overview

The Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by:

Taste Flavor Company LLC
136 Route 10 PMB #237
East Hanover, New Jersey 07936
Email: [email protected]
Telephone: 908-489-3054
(“Sponsor”)

The Sweepstakes is a chance-based promotion. Ten potential winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received through both entry methods.

Target is not a sponsor, administrator, endorser, or affiliate of this Sweepstakes. There is no Target-controlled media, Target participation, data sharing, sponsorship, administration, approval, or other arrangement with Target. References to Target identify the retailer at which the promoted products may be sold and the issuer or brand associated with the prizes. No endorsement, approval, sponsorship, affiliation, or other relationship with Target is stated or implied.

3. Promotion Period

The Sweepstakes begins on October 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. EST and closes on November 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. EST (the “Promotion Period”).

Powerful Form Builder is the official timekeeping system for online entries.

Online entries must be submitted and recorded before the close of the Promotion Period. Free mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than November 15, 2026, and received by Sponsor no later than November 19, 2026.

Sponsor is not responsible for differences between an entrant’s device, clock, time zone, mailing location, or postal-service records and the official timekeeping device or applicable postmark and receipt deadlines.

4. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry:

  1. are legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia;
  2. are at least 18 years old;
  3. satisfy these Official Rules; and
  4. are not excluded under this Section.

The following persons are not eligible:

  • officers, directors, members, managers, employees, temporary workers, contractors, and interns of Sponsor;
  • employees and representatives of Target;
  • employees and representatives of any advertising, public-relations, fulfillment, technology, data-processing, judging, legal, accounting, or promotion agency or vendor involved in designing, advertising, administering, operating, or fulfilling the Sweepstakes;
  • persons involved in selecting or verifying potential winners;
  • immediate family members of an excluded person, including a spouse, domestic partner, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, sibling, stepsibling, grandparent, or grandchild, regardless of where that person resides; and
  • persons who share a household with an excluded person, whether related or not.

Eligibility is subject to verification. Sponsor may require reasonably necessary proof of identity, age, residency, household, compliance, or eligibility before awarding a prize. Participation constitutes the entrant’s agreement to comply with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s reasonable, good-faith decisions concerning administration of the Sweepstakes.

5. How to Enter Online

5.1 Optional Purchase-Related Online Method

During the Promotion Period, an eligible person may visit https://tasteflavorco.com/pages/target-giveaway and follow the displayed instructions.

The current campaign design asks an entrant to:

  1. purchase an eligible Taste Flavor Co. sauce from Target;
  2. take a photograph showing the entrant with the Taste Flavor Co. bottle and the corresponding receipt or order confirmation;
  3. provide the requested contact and eligibility information;
  4. upload the photograph and receipt or order-confirmation evidence;
  5. affirm eligibility;
  6. affirmatively agree to these Official Rules and acknowledge the Privacy Policy; and
  7. activate the clearly labeled entry-submission control.

A purchase is optional and does not improve the entrant’s odds. Any eligible person who does not wish to make a purchase may use the free mail-in method in Section 6.

5.2 Qualifying Purchase and Receipt or Order Confirmation

For this online method:

  • the submission must show a genuine Taste Flavor Co. product and a genuine receipt or order confirmation reflecting the associated purchase;
  • the product and receipt or order confirmation must not be digitally fabricated, materially altered, duplicated for multiple entries, or obtained through fraud;
  • the purchase must occur during the Promotion Period;
  • purchases at physical Target stores, on Target.com, through the Target app, and through delivery services qualify; and
  • for a purchase from a physical Target store, Target.com, the Target app, or a delivery service, the legible receipt or order confirmation must show Target as the retailer, the purchase or order date, the qualifying Taste Flavor Co. product, and a transaction or order identifier; a physical store location is required only if the purchase occurred at a physical Target store.

Sponsor may ask an entrant to provide the original receipt, order confirmation, or other reasonable verification if the submitted information is unclear, incomplete, or apparently altered.

5.3 Redaction of Sensitive Information

Entrants may reasonably conceal, redact, or crop information not needed to verify the entry from a receipt or order confirmation, including:

  • full payment-card or bank-account numbers;
  • loyalty-account numbers;
  • unrelated purchases;
  • home addresses printed on receipts or order confirmations;
  • prescription or health-related purchases;
  • financial information;
  • government identification numbers;
  • passwords or access codes; and
  • other information not reasonably necessary to verify the entry.

An entrant must not obscure the information Sponsor reasonably needs to determine whether the receipt or order confirmation supports the entry.

5.4 Online Entry Information

The entry form may request the entrant’s:

  • first and last name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • age or confirmation that the entrant is at least 18;
  • state of residence;
  • Target store or purchase channel;
  • photograph and receipt or order-confirmation evidence; and
  • other information reasonably necessary to administer or verify the Sweepstakes, provided that any material additional requirement is disclosed before entry.

The upload must be a JPEG or PNG photograph no larger than 10 MB. Video submissions are prohibited.

An entry is received only when Sponsor’s entry system records a complete submission. The system separately records an entry identifier and submission event and can produce the required audit and security logs. A confirmation page or message acknowledges transmission but does not establish eligibility or guarantee that the entry satisfies these Official Rules.

6. Free Alternate Method of Entry by Mail

To enter without making a purchase, hand-print the following information legibly on a plain 3-inch-by-5-inch card or sheet of paper:

  • “Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes”;
  • full legal name;
  • complete residential mailing address;
  • city, state, and ZIP Code;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • date of birth; and
  • the statement: “I certify that I am eligible under and agree to the Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes Official Rules.”

Place the completed entry in a stamped, standard-size outer envelope and mail it to:

Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes — AMOE
Taste Flavor Company LLC
136 Route 10 PMB #237
East Hanover, New Jersey 07936

Mail-in entries must be individually mailed, postmarked no later than November 15, 2026, and received by Sponsor no later than November 19, 2026.

The following conditions apply:

  • only one entry may be included in each outer envelope;
  • the envelope must bear sufficient postage and a legible return address;
  • mechanically reproduced, photocopied, computer-generated in bulk, automated, metered in bulk, or mass-produced entries are prohibited;
  • bulk shipments, grouped submissions, and entries sent through commercial entry services are prohibited;
  • incomplete, illegible, damaged, misdirected, late, or postage-due entries may be rejected;
  • proof of mailing or a mailing receipt is not proof that Sponsor received an entry; and
  • mail-in entries will not be returned.

A valid free mail-in entry has the same opportunity to win as a valid online entry. Sponsor will not assign different odds, a separate prize pool, or preferential treatment based on the method of entry.

7. Entry Limit and Identity Rules

There is a limit of one entry per person and one entry per household across all methods of entry during the entire Promotion Period.

An online entry and a mail-in entry submitted by or for the same person or household do not create two valid entries. If more than one entry is received from the same person or household, Sponsor may count only the first complete eligible entry received and disregard the rest.

An entrant may not attempt to evade the entry limit by using:

  • multiple names, aliases, identities, residences, households, email addresses, telephone numbers, accounts, devices, browsers, mailing addresses, or IP addresses;
  • another person’s identity or contact information;
  • automated entry software, scripts, bots, macros, or programmed processes;
  • coordinated entry exchanges or entry services; or
  • any other device or method intended to circumvent these Official Rules.

If a dispute arises concerning the identity of an online entrant, Sponsor may treat the authorized account holder of the submitted email address as the entrant, provided that person satisfies all eligibility requirements. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person assigned the email address by the relevant provider. Sponsor may require proof of account ownership.

An entry submitted on behalf of another person is prohibited unless Sponsor has provided a reasonable accommodation through the accessibility procedure in Section 22.

8. Photograph and Submission Standards

An online photograph or other submitted material, collectively a “Submission,” must comply with the following standards.

8.1 Entrant Rights and Permissions

By submitting a Submission, the entrant represents that:

  • the entrant created or lawfully controls the Submission;
  • the entrant has authority to submit it for Sweepstakes administration;
  • the Submission does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • every identifiable adult appearing in the Submission has authorized the entrant to submit the image for Sweepstakes administration; and
  • the Submission complies with applicable law and these Official Rules.

A Submission may include other adults, provided that every identifiable adult has given the authorization required above. A Submission must not depict or identify a person under 18.

8.2 Prohibited Content

A Submission must not:

  • depict or identify a person under 18;
  • depict unlawful, dangerous, reckless, or unsafe conduct;
  • encourage misuse of a product or violation of retailer rules;
  • contain nudity, sexual content, obscenity, threats, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or graphic violence;
  • contain defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading content;
  • disclose another person’s address, telephone number, financial information, health information, government identification number, account credentials, or other private information;
  • contain confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret information;
  • display copyrighted works, trademarks, logos, trade dress, or other third-party material except as reasonably incidental to documenting the qualifying product, retailer, and receipt or order confirmation;
  • contain malware, malicious code, hidden files, or corrupted data;
  • falsely imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation; or
  • otherwise violate another person’s rights or the integrity of the Sweepstakes.

The incidental appearance of Target branding, a Target receipt or order confirmation, or ordinary background items will not by itself disqualify a Submission, but entrants should avoid unnecessary third-party branding and personal information.

8.3 No Judging Based on Photograph Quality

This is a random-draw Sweepstakes, not a skill contest. Photograph quality, creativity, appearance, social engagement, or popularity will not increase the entrant’s odds. The photograph is used only for entry administration and verification unless the entrant separately agrees to a broader use.

9. Limited Administrative License

The entrant retains any ownership rights the entrant may have in the Submission.

By entering online, the entrant grants Sponsor and its service providers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to access, host, copy, resize, transmit, review, and use the Submission solely to:

  • receive and process the entry;
  • verify eligibility and compliance;
  • detect fraud, duplication, or abuse;
  • administer the drawing and prize process;
  • respond to complaints or legal inquiries;
  • maintain records required by law or reasonably needed to document the Sweepstakes; and
  • enforce these Official Rules.

The license continues only for the applicable category-specific retention period stated in Section 17.4, subject to any additional period required by applicable law or a valid legal hold.

No advertising, social-media, endorsement, or general marketing license is granted by entering.

10. Prizes

10.1 Prize Description and Value

Ten prizes are available. Each prize consists of one or more Target gift cards having a total face value and approximate retail value of $500.

  • Number of prizes: 10
  • Approximate retail value of each prize: $500
  • Aggregate approximate retail value: $5,000

No person or household may receive more than one prize.

10.2 Gift-Card Conditions

Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s terms, conditions, restrictions, expiration rules, replacement policies, and other requirements. Sponsor does not control the issuer’s administration of a gift card after delivery.

A winner is responsible for protecting the gift card after documented delivery. Except where required by law or the issuer’s terms, Sponsor is not responsible for a gift card that is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, misdirected because of incorrect information supplied by the winner, or used without authorization after documented delivery.

10.3 Substitution and Transfer

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable through Sponsor for cash. A winner may not substitute a prize.

If an advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law. Sponsor will not reduce the stated value merely for convenience or change the nature of the prize in a materially unfair manner.

10.4 Delivery

Sponsor will financially reserve the full $5,000 aggregate prize value before launch and may obtain or issue the ten electronic $500 Target gift cards when the prizes are due for delivery. Each electronic gift card will be delivered to the verified winner’s supplied email address within four to six weeks after verification.

A winner must provide accurate delivery and contact information and reasonably cooperate with delivery verification.

10.5 Taxes

Each winner is responsible for taxes, fees, and reporting obligations arising from acceptance or use of the prize, except taxes Sponsor is legally required to pay.

Sponsor may require a winner to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 or other legally required tax documentation if reporting or withholding is required. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 or other tax form only where required by applicable law. Sponsor will not request tax information until reasonably necessary for lawful prize administration and will use a secure collection method appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Sensitive tax information must not be requested through ordinary unsecured email.

10.6 No Target Sponsorship

Target is not responsible for selecting winners, administering entries, communicating with entrants, delivering prizes, resolving disputes, or fulfilling Sponsor’s obligations. There is no Target-controlled media, Target participation, data sharing, sponsorship, administration, approval, or other arrangement with Target. Target’s trademarks and gift cards remain subject to Target’s applicable rights and terms.

11. Random Drawing and Odds

On or about November 20, 2026, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible online and mail-in entries timely received.

Sponsor may use commercially reasonable random-drawing software or another documented random-selection method selected by Taste Flavor Company LLC. The selected method must be applied consistently, treat online and mail-in entries equally, and produce or be memorialized in an auditable record sufficient to identify:

  • the eligible entry pool;
  • the date and method of the drawing;
  • the person or system conducting the drawing;
  • the selected potential winners and alternates; and
  • material eligibility and fulfillment decisions.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Entries submitted through both methods will be combined into one drawing pool.

Each selected entrant is only a potential winner until Sponsor verifies eligibility and compliance.

12. Potential-Winner Notification and Verification

Sponsor will attempt to notify each potential winner by both email and text message using the contact information provided with the entry.

A potential winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days after Sponsor sends the initial notice, or by any later date expressly stated in the notice.

Sponsor will require each potential winner to sign an affidavit or declaration of eligibility and will require a potential winner selected from an online entry to provide the receipt or order-confirmation image associated with that entry. Subject to applicable law, Sponsor may also require a potential winner to:

  • confirm identity, age, residence, and household;
  • confirm compliance with these Official Rules;
  • provide a government-issued identification document through a reasonably secure process;
  • provide proof that the potential winner controls the email address or telephone number used to enter;
  • sign a liability release to the extent lawful;
  • sign a narrowly tailored publicity release where lawful and separately required;
  • provide lawful tax documentation where required; and
  • provide accurate prize-delivery information.

A potential winner may be disqualified if the person:

  • is ineligible;
  • cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts;
  • fails to respond by the stated deadline;
  • does not timely provide reasonably requested verification;
  • declines the prize;
  • cannot accept the prize as offered;
  • violates these Official Rules;
  • submits false or materially misleading information; or
  • has a notification or prize returned as undeliverable.

If a potential winner is disqualified or forfeits the prize, Sponsor may select up to two (2) alternate potential winners for that prize by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries before the prize may remain unawarded, except where applicable law requires further efforts or award of the prize.

13. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, Sponsor may publicly identify a verified winner on social media by the winner’s first name, last initial, and state for purposes of announcing results and maintaining a winners list.

Any broader use of a winner’s image, voice, likeness, biography, quotation, endorsement, or Submission for advertising or promotional purposes will be subject to applicable law and any additional consent or release reasonably required by Sponsor.

Nothing in these Official Rules:

  • waives a non-waivable privacy or publicity right;
  • authorizes a false or misleading endorsement;
  • requires a winner to participate in advertising where consent cannot lawfully be made a condition of receiving the prize; or
  • permits use materially outside the consent actually provided.

14. Prohibited Conduct; Fraud and Tampering

Sponsor may disqualify an entrant or entry based on reasonably documented evidence that the person:

  • attempted to manipulate or disrupt the entry system, drawing, website, mail process, or verification process;
  • used bots, scripts, automation, multiple identities, false information, or prohibited entry services;
  • altered, fabricated, duplicated, or misused a photograph, receipt, or order confirmation;
  • interfered with another person’s entry;
  • attempted to obtain more than one entry for a person or household;
  • threatened, harassed, or abused Sponsor personnel or other participants;
  • attempted to compromise security or obtain unauthorized access;
  • violated law or these Official Rules; or
  • acted in a manner that materially undermines the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor may preserve relevant records, reject affected entries, restrict access, and refer suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities. A technical irregularity alone will not establish fraud without a reasonable basis.

15. Technical Failures and Unavailable Services

Sponsor and the other Released Parties identified in Section 18 are not responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for:

  • interrupted or unavailable internet, wireless, telephone, hosting, or postal service;
  • lost, late, delayed, corrupted, incomplete, misdirected, illegible, or incorrectly addressed entries;
  • failed uploads or transmissions;
  • hardware, software, browser, network, server, email, spam-filter, or communications failures;
  • unauthorized human intervention;
  • inaccurate information caused by equipment or programming;
  • errors in processing, storage, display, or transmission;
  • an entrant’s failure to maintain current contact information; or
  • events outside their reasonable control.

This provision does not excuse Sponsor from using reasonable care in administering the Sweepstakes, honoring valid entries actually received, or complying with non-waivable law.

Entrants who experience an accessibility barrier should use the procedure in Section 22. Other material entry problems may be reported promptly to [email protected].

16. Cancellation, Suspension, Modification, or Termination

If fraud, tampering, cyberattack, system failure, natural disaster, epidemic, labor disruption, governmental action, postal interruption, supply failure, legal restriction, force majeure, or another event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially impairs the security, fairness, integrity, feasibility, or lawful operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, terminate, or cancel the affected portion of the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law.

Sponsor will not use this authority to avoid awarding prizes merely because participation is greater than anticipated or the promotion is commercially unsuccessful.

Where reasonably feasible, Sponsor will:

  • provide prominent notice of a material change;
  • preserve eligible entries received before the impairment;
  • treat online and mail entrants fairly;
  • avoid retroactively imposing materially adverse terms;
  • use a fair alternative drawing or remedy; and
  • award the prizes from unaffected eligible entries if lawful and practicable.

No modification will increase the purchase requirement, eliminate the free entry method, reduce the stated prize pool, or materially disadvantage an entrant after entry unless required by law and accompanied by an appropriate fair remedy.

17. Privacy and Data Use

17.1 Information Collected

Sponsor may collect and process:

  • name and contact information;
  • age, residence, and other eligibility information;
  • online entry-form responses;
  • uploaded photographs and receipt or order-confirmation images;
  • store or purchase-channel information;
  • mailing information from free entries;
  • device, browser, IP-address, timestamp, log, cookie, and system metadata;
  • Rules version and affirmative-assent records;
  • communications with entrants;
  • fraud-prevention and verification records;
  • winner identity and delivery information;
  • signed affidavits, declarations, and releases;
  • tax information where legally required; and
  • complaint, investigation, and dispute records.

17.2 Purposes

Sponsor may use Sweepstakes information to:

  • administer entries and the drawing;
  • verify eligibility and compliance;
  • prevent fraud and enforce entry limits;
  • communicate about the Sweepstakes;
  • select, verify, announce, and fulfill winners;
  • satisfy tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and legal obligations;
  • protect the rights, safety, and security of Sponsor, entrants, vendors, and others;
  • investigate complaints and disputes; and
  • conduct internal reporting using aggregated or appropriately de-identified information where lawful.

Entry information will not be used for unrelated marketing unless the entrant separately and affirmatively chooses to receive marketing.

17.3 Service Providers and Disclosures

Sponsor may use and disclose information to vendors and service providers that support hosting, forms, entry processing, storage, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, drawing and Sweepstakes administration, legal review, tax administration, prize fulfillment, security, and customer support, subject to this Section 17 and appropriate contractual controls.

Shopify is the website-hosting and cloud-storage provider. Powerful Form Builder is the entry-form application and official online-entry timekeeping system. Queen One and Attentive are identified as email-marketing providers, and Attentive is the SMS provider. Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest are identified as analytics, cookie, advertising-pixel, or session-replay providers. Target eGiftCard is identified as the gift-card delivery or fulfillment provider. Sponsor may also use vendors and service providers for hosting, forms, communications, analytics, fulfillment, security, and administration, subject to this Section 17 and appropriate contractual controls.

Sponsor may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory requirements, enforce these Official Rules, investigate misconduct, complete a corporate transaction, or protect rights and safety.

Sponsor will not share entrant data with Target, and there is no Target participation, sponsorship, administration, approval, or other arrangement with Target.

17.4 Retention

Sponsor will retain personal information for the category-specific periods below, subject only to applicable lawful exceptions, including any additional period required by applicable law or a valid legal hold.

Sponsor will retain non-winning entries, uploaded photographs, and receipts or order confirmations for two (2) years after the Sweepstakes closes. Sponsor will retain electronic-assent records, entry records, system/audit logs, mail-entry records, and drawing records for four (4) years after the Sweepstakes closes.

Sponsor will retain winner affidavits or declarations, releases, verification files, and prize-delivery records for four (4) years after prize delivery. Sponsor will retain tax records and tax documentation for seven (7) years, or any longer period required by applicable law. Sponsor will retain complaint, investigation, dispute, litigation, or regulatory records until the matter is finally resolved, plus any additional period required by applicable law or a valid legal hold.

After the applicable retention period expires, Sponsor will securely delete, destroy, or appropriately de-identify the information, subject to lawful exceptions, including legal holds and security, tax, regulatory, and dispute obligations, and to technical limitations.

17.5 Security

Sponsor will use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information it processes, including role-based or need-to-know access controls, secure account credentials, reasonable transmission and storage protections where supported by the applicable systems, vendor access limitations, and secure methods for collecting tax or identity documents. Sensitive tax information must not be requested through ordinary unsecured email. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and Sponsor does not guarantee absolute security.

17.6 Privacy Rights

Depending on an entrant’s state of residence and applicable law, the entrant may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information concerning certain disclosures of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. Applicable exceptions may permit Sponsor to retain information needed to administer the Sweepstakes, comply with law, preserve security, or resolve disputes.

Requests may be submitted using the process stated in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://tasteflavorco.com/pages/privacy-policy?_pos=1&_sid=02371635e&_ss=r or by emailing [email protected].

These Official Rules include all material disclosures concerning Sweepstakes-specific collection, use, disclosure, retention, consent, and entrant rights. Sponsor’s Privacy Policy also applies. If the Privacy Policy and these Official Rules conflict concerning a Sweepstakes-specific collection, use, disclosure, retention, consent, or entrant right, these Official Rules control to the extent of the conflict, except where applicable law requires greater protection, in which case the legally required greater protection controls.

18. Releases, Limitation of Liability, and Entrant Indemnity

18.1 Released Parties

For purposes of this Section, the “Released Parties” are Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, and service providers directly involved in the Sweepstakes, together with Target and each relevant platform, but only to the extent permitted by law and applicable to that party’s role.

18.2 Limited Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each entrant releases the Released Parties from claims arising directly from:

  • the entrant’s voluntary participation in the Sweepstakes;
  • the entrant’s acceptance, possession, lawful use, or misuse of a prize;
  • the entrant’s breach of these Official Rules; or
  • unauthorized conduct by the entrant.

This release does not apply to:

  • fraud or intentional misconduct by a Released Party;
  • gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be released;
  • bodily injury or other liability that applicable law prohibits a party from disclaiming;
  • violation of a non-waivable statutory right; or
  • Sponsor’s failure to award a prize as required by these Official Rules and applicable law.

18.3 Limitation of Damages

To the extent permitted by law, the Released Parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes, even if advised that such damages were possible.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits a remedy or measure of damages that cannot lawfully be limited.

18.4 Narrow Entrant Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, an entrant will indemnify and hold Sponsor harmless from a third-party claim, judgment, or reasonable cost, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent caused by:

  • the entrant’s knowing or materially negligent infringement of that third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other right through the entrant’s Submission;
  • the entrant’s material misrepresentation about ownership or permission; or
  • the entrant’s intentional unlawful conduct in connection with the Sweepstakes.

This indemnity does not cover Sponsor’s independent misconduct, Sponsor’s use outside the license actually granted, or losses to the extent caused by Sponsor.

19. Optional Marketing Communications

19.1 Entry Is Not Marketing Consent

Entry, eligibility, odds, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and the purchase of goods or services are not conditioned on consent to receive promotional email, text messages, telephone solicitations, or other marketing.

Marketing choices must be presented separately from the required Official Rules assent and separately from each other. Each marketing box must be optional and unchecked by default.

19.2 Optional Email Marketing

Taste Flavor Company LLC will request promotional-email consent through the separate, optional, unchecked email checkbox in Section 31. The email consent must not be bundled with the required Official Rules assent or SMS consent and is not a condition of entry, winning, or purchasing goods or services.

Email consent must be voluntary and clearly identify Taste Flavor Company LLC as the sender. Marketing emails must comply with CAN-SPAM and other applicable law, including applicable sender-identification, advertising, physical-address, and unsubscribe requirements. An entrant may unsubscribe through the mechanism included in a marketing email or another reasonably accessible method, and Sponsor must honor opt-out requests within the legally required period. Unsubscribing from marketing will not cancel an otherwise valid Sweepstakes entry.

Sponsor must retain evidence of the specific email-consent language displayed, checkbox status, email address, date and time, applicable Official Rules or form version, and submission record for four (4) years after the Sweepstakes closes, subject to any longer period required by applicable law or a valid legal hold.

19.3 Optional SMS Marketing

If optional SMS/text marketing is implemented, Taste Flavor Company LLC will request consent through the separate, optional, unchecked SMS checkbox in Section 31. The disclosure must address recurring promotional texts, automated technology, variable message frequency, message and data rates, and STOP and HELP instructions. SMS marketing will be subject to the terms and privacy disclosures presented by the messaging platform selected by Sponsor at the time consent is requested, together with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. The final platform terms and disclosures must be displayed before consent is collected and must be implemented and reviewed before launch. SMS consent must not be bundled with the required Official Rules assent or email consent and is not a condition of entry, winning, or purchasing goods or services.

A telephone number submitted for Sweepstakes administration will not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing texts or calls.

By checking the separate SMS consent box and submitting the form, the entrant electronically signs the SMS consent.

Sponsor must retain evidence of the specific consent language displayed, checkbox status, telephone number, date and time, applicable Official Rules or form version, and submission record for four (4) years after the Sweepstakes closes, subject to any longer period required by applicable law or a valid legal hold.

SMS marketing must comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and other applicable federal and state law. Nothing in these Official Rules expands consent beyond the language affirmatively accepted, waives a non-waivable right, or limits any protection or remedy provided by applicable law.

20. Target and Platform Disclaimers

The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, approved by, or associated with Target. There is no Target-controlled media, Target participation, data sharing, sponsorship, administration, approval, or other arrangement with Target. Entrants release Target only to the extent stated in Section 18 and permitted by law.

If the Sweepstakes is advertised on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Google, or another platform, the promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform unless Sponsor expressly states otherwise based on a written arrangement.

Entrants provide their information to Sponsor, not to a platform, except to the extent the platform independently collects information under its own terms and privacy practices.

The Sweepstakes will be promoted through direct mail and email and will not be promoted through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, paid digital advertising, influencers, or affiliates.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

21.1 Governing Law

Except to the extent preempted or prohibited by applicable law, the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by New Jersey law, without applying a conflict-of-laws rule that would require application of another jurisdiction’s law.

This choice of law does not deprive an entrant of a mandatory, non-waivable consumer protection afforded by the law applicable to that entrant.

21.2 Forum

Subject to the small-claims and mandatory-rights provisions below:

  • a state-court action arising from the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Morris County, New Jersey; and
  • a federal action must be filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

If applicable law prohibits enforcement of that forum against a particular entrant or claim, the claim may proceed in another court having lawful jurisdiction.

21.3 Individual Proceedings

To the extent enforceable, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in a purported class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, mass, or representative proceeding.

This provision does not waive:

  • a right that applicable law makes non-waivable;
  • a right to seek public injunctive relief where that right cannot lawfully be waived;
  • a government agency’s authority;
  • participation in a matter initiated by a government agency; or
  • any procedure a court determines cannot lawfully be restricted.

21.4 Small Claims

An eligible party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court having jurisdiction, provided the claim remains individual and within that court’s authority.

21.5 Informal Notice

Before filing a non-small-claims action, the parties are encouraged to send a written description of the dispute and requested relief and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter. Notices to Sponsor should be sent to the Sponsor address in Section 2 with a copy to [email protected].

This informal process does not shorten a limitations period or prevent a party from seeking urgent relief.

22. Accessibility and Alternate Formats

Sponsor intends to provide a reasonably accessible online entry experience and accessible Official Rules.

An entrant who encounters an accessibility barrier or needs the Official Rules or entry instructions in an alternate format may:

Sponsor will provide reasonable assistance or an accessible alternative that does not materially change eligibility, timing, entry limits, odds, or the integrity of the Sweepstakes.

Requests should be made as early as practicable. Sponsor will not require disclosure of medical information beyond what is reasonably necessary to understand and provide the requested accommodation.

23. Electronic Assent, Records, and Signatures

23.1 Presentation of Rules

Before an online entry may be submitted, the entry interface must:

  • display a clear and conspicuous link to these Official Rules;
  • display a link to the Privacy Policy;
  • provide a reasonable opportunity to open, review, download, print, and retain both documents;
  • identify the version or effective date of the Official Rules;
  • use a separate, unchecked Rules-assent checkbox; and
  • explain clearly that checking the box and activating the submission control constitutes affirmative agreement to the Official Rules.

23.2 Affirmative Action Required

No person assents to these Official Rules through:

  • silence or inactivity;
  • merely visiting or using the website;
  • a prechecked box;
  • a hidden or inconspicuous link;
  • consent inferred from marketing enrollment; or
  • consent bundled with an optional marketing choice.

The Rules checkbox must be required for online entry. Any marketing checkbox must be separate, optional, and unchecked.

23.3 Assent Records

Sponsor must maintain a reasonably reliable record of:

  • the entrant information associated with the submission;
  • the date and time of submission;
  • the Official Rules version presented;
  • the URL or interface through which assent was obtained;
  • the checkbox or other affirmative action;
  • the entry-system transaction or record identifier;
  • relevant audit and security logs; and
  • any material error, correction, or accommodation affecting assent.

Electronic-assent records, entry records, and relevant system/audit logs must be retained for four (4) years after the Sweepstakes closes, consistent with the Privacy Policy and applicable law, and then securely deleted, destroyed, or appropriately de-identified as provided in Section 17.4.

23.4 Electronic Records and Signatures

To the extent permitted by applicable electronic-transactions law, an electronic record or signature may satisfy a writing, delivery, acknowledgment, or signature requirement relating to Sweepstakes administration.

An entrant must have hardware and software reasonably capable of accessing the entry page, opening common webpage or document formats, and retaining or printing electronic records.

23.5 Withdrawal for Future Electronic Communications

An entrant may withdraw consent to receive future electronic Sweepstakes communications by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Target Sweepstakes — Electronic Records.”

Withdrawal:

  • does not invalidate an electronic record or signature previously provided;
  • does not cancel a valid entry solely because of the withdrawal;
  • may require the entrant to use paper communications or verification to complete prize administration; and
  • does not prevent Sponsor from sending a communication required by law or necessary to administer an existing entry, to the extent permitted by law.

Sponsor will provide a paper copy of these Official Rules or a reasonably necessary Sweepstakes record upon reasonable request.

24. Winners List and Official Rules Requests

24.1 Winners List

Subject to applicable law and verification, a list identifying the verified winners by first name, last initial, and state will be posted on November 21, 2026 on Sponsor’s official Instagram account, @taste_flavorco, and will remain posted indefinitely.

To request the list, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes — Winners List” to:

Taste Flavor Company LLC
136 Route 10 PMB #237
East Hanover, New Jersey 07936

Requests must be received by February 28, 2027.

Where a self-addressed stamped envelope cannot reasonably be required or where applicable law requires an electronic method, a requester may email [email protected] with the subject line “Target Sweepstakes — Winners List.”

24.2 Official Rules Requests

A copy of these Official Rules may be obtained at https://tasteflavorco.com/pages/taste-flavor-co-target-official-rules.

A paper copy may be requested by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “Taste Flavor Co. Target Sweepstakes — Official Rules” to the Sponsor address above. The request must be received within five (5) calendar days after launch, no later than October 20, 2026.

25. Entire Rules; Priority; No Waiver

These Official Rules govern the Sweepstakes and include all material Sweepstakes privacy disclosures. Sponsor’s Privacy Policy also applies.

If an advertisement, webpage, email, direct-mail piece, social post, FAQ, employee statement, or other promotional material conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules control, except that:

  • Sponsor must honor a more favorable material representation if applicable law requires it;
  • if the Privacy Policy and these Official Rules conflict concerning Sweepstakes-specific collection, use, disclosure, retention, consent, or entrant rights, these Official Rules control to the extent of the conflict, except where applicable law requires greater protection, in which case the legally required greater protection controls; and
  • no document eliminates a mandatory, non-waivable right.

Sponsor’s delay or failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. A waiver concerning one entrant, incident, or provision is not a waiver concerning another.

26. Rule Changes and Notice

Sponsor may make a non-material correction that clarifies these Official Rules without changing entrants’ substantive rights.

Sponsor will not materially change eligibility, entry methods, entry limits, prize value, odds, winner-selection criteria, or important data uses after the Promotion Period begins except where:

  • necessary to comply with law;
  • required to address an event described in Section 16; or
  • the change benefits entrants without unfairly disadvantaging any participant.

A material change must be accompanied by reasonably prominent notice and, where required, a fair remedy. Any material change to prize value, entry method, geography, retailer involvement, or Sweepstakes structure requires renewed counsel review before implementation. Sponsor will preserve prior versions and document the reason, approval, publication date, and effect of each change.

An entrant will not be deemed to accept a materially revised term merely through silence or continued inactivity.

27. Severability and Savings Clause

If a court or other competent authority determines that a provision is invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

Severance will not be used to:

  • eliminate the free method of entry;
  • reduce the stated prize pool;
  • deprive entrants of mandatory rights;
  • expand a release or limitation beyond what applicable law permits; or
  • materially alter the lawful nature of the Sweepstakes.

All provisions are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.
