The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska; twenty-one (21) in Mississippi) at the time of entry.
Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and anyone involved in running the Sweepstakes are not eligible, and neither are their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) or anyone living in the same household. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on October 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 31, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
The receipt must be legible in the photo and dated within the Promotion Period. Keep your original receipt; a potential winner may be required to present it to claim the prize.
To enter without buying anything, hand-print your first and last name, full mailing address, email address, phone number and date of birth on a 3" x 5" card, and mail it in a stamped envelope to:

Each eligible mail-in entry has the same chance of winning as each eligible online entry.
Entry Limit: Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address for the entire Promotion Period, regardless of method. Entries beyond this limit will be disqualified.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, late, submitted through automated means, or not in compliance with these Official Rules are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged or postage-due mail, or for technical failures that affect online submissions.
By uploading a photo, each entrant confirms that:
Sponsor may disqualify any photo it believes, in its sole discretion, does not meet these requirements.
License: By submitting a photo, the entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display and publish the photo, with the entrant's first name and last initial, in connection with the Sweepstakes and Sponsor's marketing, in any media, for two (2) years, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor will ask for separate permission before publishing any entrant's photo on social media.
One (1) Grand Prize: $5,000 in Target Gift Cards. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $5,000.00.
Target Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer. Sponsor may deliver the prize as multiple gift cards. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and no substitution is allowed except by Sponsor, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards once delivered.
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize. The winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the ARV of the prize and must provide a valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number to claim it.
Total ARV of all prizes: $5,000.00.
On or about November 10, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone within five (5) business days of the drawing. The potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification.
The potential winner must provide the original Target receipt shown in their entry photo (or, for mail-in entries, confirm the entry details), and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where lawful, Publicity Release within seven (7) days of receiving them.
If the potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond, fails to return the required documents on time, cannot provide the original receipt (for purchase entries), is found ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. Sponsor will select no more than two (2) alternates, after which the prize will go unawarded.
The prize will be delivered within approximately four to six (4–6) weeks after verification.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner's consent for Sponsor to use the winner's name, city, state, photo and entry for advertising and promotional purposes, in any media, without further compensation.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions. Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or fraudulent manner.
If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failure, a virus, tampering or any other cause beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. It may then award the prize at random from eligible entries received before the action was taken.
If a dispute arises about who submitted an online entry, the entry will be considered submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to that email address by the provider responsible for assigning email addresses for the associated domain.
By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Target Corporation, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, and all their officers, directors, employees and agents (the "Released Parties") from any liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession or use of the prize.
The Released Parties are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, technical failures of any kind, unauthorized access to entries, printing or typographical errors, or any error in the administration of the Sweepstakes.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Entrants agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Entrants' remedies are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs of entering, and in no event include attorneys' fees, punitive, incidental or consequential damages.

Entrants who opt in to receive marketing emails or text messages can unsubscribe at any time. Opting in is not required to enter or win.
For the winner's name (available after January 15, 2027) or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the mailing address in Section 4B, marked "Winner's Name" or "Official Rules" as appropriate. Requests must be received by February 28, 2027.
