BBQ Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Smoked BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper 
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, Cherry Smoked BBQ sauce, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.

  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

  6. Serve the BBQ Turkey Meatballs with toothpicks for easy serving.
